The Merc Renovation Update

Our last day of trade for 12 months will be Sunday 27th October as we give our beautiful old building some much-needed TLC and upgrades, including adding a new rooftop bar while keeping everything you love about our place

Don’t worry - the Merc you know and love and your favourite staff aren’t going anywhere! In the meantime, you will be able to visit us at 4 Doors Down (just 25m away!) from 1st November. You’ll still find all your favourite Merc meals and drinks, including Shamrock Pies and creamy pints of Guinness. Plus, there’s a hidden beer garden perfect for summer

Your Merc fam would never leave you hanging and St Patrick’s Day 2025 celebrations are ON We’ve got a 3-day festival planned from 15th to 17th March where we once again takeover George St - stay tuned for more details

In the meantime - pop down to see us - we’re always happy to see you!

Status Update

Hoarding will be erected around the building from Monday 4th November while the work is being carried out inside. Please follow the link here for all information related to approvals of the project.

The Mercantile is donating $10 from each ticket sold to Irish Organisations.

Paddy's craic are delighted to be starting an Irish Trad session at The iconic  Mercantile this Monday 12th February from 6:30pm-8:30pm . We'll be playing lively tunes and all your favourite Irish ballads and songs, there might even be a dance or two. So come in and enjoy a pint of the black stuff while listening or singing along to some rip roaring music. Hup!
